« Un pavé de pierre taillée dans des couleurs différentes a été choisi pour couvrir tout le centre ville comme un tapis. Le motif de branches et de fleurs est créé par une alternance de couleurs claires et foncées dans la chaussée. »

Via It’s Nice That
Line of Work transforms everyday building materials into a powerful yet protecting wave-form that reaches out to the sea. Individual occupations carved into the wood reflect the growing diversity of workers’ specific skills. Each piece tells its own story, yet together they become the story of British Columbia, marking shifts in the evolution of the province and the aspirations of its workforce from industries of the past, to trades of today, to the unfathomable future. Line of work is integrated into the folded green roof of the new Vancouver Convention Centre juxtaposing notions of ascension, aspiration and progress with those of shelter and protection.

OCBC Skyway à Singapore est la dernière addition du projet innovateur Gardens by the bay, une passerelle aérienne qui souhaite transformer l’idée de l’espace public. 18 arbres gigantesques, de 25 à 50 mètres de hauteur, sont présentement en construction et serviront de trellis pour laisser place aux vignes, fleurs et feuillages de toutes sortes envahir ces structures. Le projet Gardens by the bay devrait être ouvert en juin 2012.
